Project Ropa

Project Ropa is a Los Angeles-based nonprofit and certified social enterprise with a dual mission: to reduce textile waste and restore dignity to individuals experiencing homelessness and extreme poverty by providing clean clothing and hygiene essentials.
Operating out of a certified green warehouse, we collect, sort, and repurpose new and gently used clothing, shoes, and accessories—distributing them, along with hygiene essentials, directly to those in need through our mobile services and community partners. By transforming discarded garments into opportunities for hope and healing, we not only reduce environmental impact but also empower underserved communities throughout Los Angeles. We proudly operate the only mobile clothing closet of its kind in the Los Angeles area.
